Well done, Alexander! Caedmon comes across as being shy, sweet, and earnest :) I enjoyed that very much!

That was fantastic , your voice over was excellent as well. It is not hard to imagine the time that surely went into working with such a meter 👏.

Very nice! I've got a poem in alliterative verse on Caedmon coming out in Second Coming next month, though unlike you're it's kind of humorous. The title will be "Caedmon Hears a Voice in the Night. It is Claude Opera 2.6".

Fantastic! I’ll definitely give it a read when it’s published. :)

In the meantime, you might also want to check out my website Forgotten Ground Regained (alliteration.net) ... it's as close as I can get it to being a one-stop shop for modern English alliterative verse on the web. I also run a quarterly poetry journal devoted to modern alliterative poetry that I publish there, and have an email discussion group with more than 125 members, which might also be something of interest.

It might indeed!

Would that we would all know our deficiencies as Caedmon did and yet also excel in His boundless grace.
