This is a really cool poem, sir, conveying a profound truth.
Sometimes it's easy for me to forget (especially when I sin) what it means that God is my Father. He LOVES US. He WANTS us! When we run from Him, He's watching day and night, waiting for us to crest the hill and return to Him, just like the Dad in the parable of the Prodigal Son!
When we are genuinely repentant, He doesn't fold his arms and withhold his forgiveness. He gives it freely because He really, really wants us to live in harmony with Him forever.
I love how God made the family to mirror His love and point back to Him. Everything about Him is woven into the very fabric of Creation and it's amazing. :)
